Grandview, TX—Funeral services for Amy Michelle Abbott, 44, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kim Long officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Amy passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at her home. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on July 30, 1969, the daughter of Vicki Lynn (Johnson) Porter and Jerry Porter.
Amy married Jamie Abbott on Sept. 10, 1994 in Cleburne. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cleburne.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Johnson Gustke and husband, Don; grandparents, Luther and Jane Porter and Guy Johnson; and father-in-law, James Abbott.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Abbott; sons, Gunner and Easton Abbott, all of Grandview; father, Jerry Porter and wife, Judy, of Cleburne; grandmother, Eva Johnson of Cleburne; brothers, Darren Porter and Ryan Porter and wife, Leah, all of White Settlement, Texas; mother-in-law, Pat Abbott of Grandview; and numerous family and friends.
