Funeral services for Abigail Garza, 89, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, 1001 E. FM 3048, Joshua, TX 76058 with Pastor Santos Fuentes officiating.

Mrs. Garza passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at her home in Cleburne. She was born in Puerto Rico on June 13, 1935, the daughter of Angelita (Mounbalth) and Felix Rivera.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Alfonso Garza; sons, Alfredo Rios, Jr. and wife, Alta K. Rios, of Fort Worth and Neftaly Rivera Rios and wife, Salina Hall Rios of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Rios Richards and fiance, Scott Blackburn, of Weatherford; grandson, Neftaly Alfredo Rios and wife, Alba Rios; granddaughters, Krystle Kay Rios, Carrie Rios Ellis and husband, Clifton Ellis, Olivia Rios Fleming and husband, Matthew Fleming, Chandra Richards Jordan and husband, Nicholas Jordan, Jaimie Richards Young and husband, Capt. Jacob Young, and Kiersten Richards Rothfuss and husband, Christopher Rothfuss; great grandchildren, Hailey Rios, Mila Ann Rios, Gracie Fleming, Porter Ellis, Evelyn Fleming, Hayes Ellis, Beau Ellis, James Anthony Young, Charlotte Ann Young, and Josie Elizabeth Jordan; sisters, Elizabeth Jogler and Ruth Rivera; nieces, Gloria Troche and husband, Jose Ramos, Yolanda Riera, Linda Marquez, Deborah Rivera, and Angie Lopez; nephews, Joshua Rivera, Elias Rivera, Pablo Rivera, Carlos Riera, Ruben Riera, Daniel Rivera, and Samuel Rivera; great niece, Taina Sanchez; and many other family members and friends.
