Adrianne Sue House, 77, of Cleburne, Texas passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her beloved family.
Sue was born on May 4, 1946 in Cuba, New York to Adrian and True Allen. She grew up in Friendship, New York where she attended school and graduated in 1964. Sue enjoyed playing the piano, keyboard, and accordion and was a member of the Friendship Central School Band.
Sue moved her family to Cleburne, Texas in 1977. She married her true love, Alton Dale House, on September 17, 1983 in Rio Vista, Texas and they shared 37 wonderful years together.
Sue worked at Rangaire Manufacturing for 22 years before leaving to pursue her career at Albertsons. She spent 19 years with the company before retiring in 2020.
Sue loved the Lord and was of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her family, crocheting keepsakes for her loved ones, and doing many other crafts with her grandchildren.
Sue and Dale had a passion for attending classic car shows with each other and their 55 Chevy. They also love spoiling their many fur babies.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents, Adrian and True Allen; brother, Fred Allen; nephew, Michael Allen; and sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ron Schnettler.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Rice of Cleburne; Pamela Thacker and life partner, Larry Lemay, of Cleburne; sons, Jeffrey Hallock of Cleburne and Timothy Hallock and wife, Dana, of Mineral Wells, Texas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Led by her youngest son, Tim, Sue will be carried to her final resting place by Brenden Chandler, Jeremy Eller, Jeremy Harwell, John Cummings, Daniel Taylor, and Wesley Brownlee.
Sue was loved tremendously and will be missed by many and will finally be able to meet and love her two great grandbabies.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Rosser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.
