Elizabeth Aldava (Gonzales)

Funeral services for Elizabeth Aldava, 79, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buford Griffith officiating. The family will receive visitors form 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Keene Memorial Cemetery.
Elizabeth Aldava passed away the morning of Sunday, March 24 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico on January 24, 1940, the daughter of Ester (Leal) and Pedro Ramirez.
Elizabeth married Manuel Aldava on May 28, 1961 in Keene, Texas. She was known as a friendly person who never met a stranger and developed an ever-growing fondness and following among friends and family for her special enchilada recipe. Mrs. Aldava worked and eventually retired from the Southwestern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Elizabeth was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Manuel Aldava and sisters, Zoila Barroso and Elsa Guadalupe Ingram.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Albert Aldava and wife, Lisa of San Diego; Nancy King and husband, Jeff of Fort Worth; Danny Aldava and wife, Teresa of San Diego; brother, Sergio Ramirez and wife Amalia, of El Paso; sister, Imelda Gillespie of Moore, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Alex Aldava, Casey Aldava and Matias Torreblanca.
