Debra Kaye Allen (Brand)
A memorial service celebrating the life of Debra Brand Allen, 48, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tom Brand will officiate.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Debbie, as she was known to family and friends, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Cleburne on Dec. 31, 1965, to C. Frances (Harrell) and John Spencer Brand.
Debbie was a 1984 graduate of Cleburne High School and attended Hill College and Tarrant County Community College. She was also a graduate of Clown College and was registered as “Pokey” the clown. Debbie was a loving and caring mother, sister and friend. She was known as “Mom” by her children and all of their friends.
Debbie was an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness and enjoyed crafting and sewing. She was the author and publisher of the most recent Brand Family Farm Cookbook. Debbie fought a courageous battle with cancer and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Holly Frances Warren.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Regina Allen of Irving, Texas; sons, Ronnie Allen of Mesquite, Texas and Ryan Allen of Cleburne; brothers, Alvin Brand and wife, Jessica of Cleburne and John Melvin Brand and wife, Karen, of Burleson, Texas; sisters, Barbara Monk and husband, Bob, of Mesquite, Darla Webb and husband, Randy, of Cleburne, Ginny Warren and husband, David, of Kaufman, Texas, and Wanda Spurgeon and husband, Weldon, of Cleburne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
