Obituary for Betty Ann Ball (Swaim)
Funeral services for Betty Ann Swaim Ball, 87, of Cleburne, Texas, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Ascension Lutheran Church with Pastor Joe Ardy officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Sweetwater Cemetery, Sweetwater, Texas.
Mrs. Ball passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014. She was born in Arkansas on Dec. 25, 1926, the daughter of Maude (Hoobler) and William Robert Swaim.
Mrs. Ball was co-owner and chief financial officer of Cleburne Aviation in Cleburne. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Alfred Ball, of Cleburne; son, Stephen A. Ball of Tallahassee, Fl a.; daughters, Beverly Fox of Fort Myers, Fla. And Teresa Ball-Smith and husband, Chad D. Smith, of Commerce, Texas; grandchildren, Olivia Fox, Austin Fox and Wyatt Smith; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Swaim, of Arlington, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 205 S. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, TX 76033.
