Barbara Benavidez

Memorial services for Barbara Ann Benavidez, 70, of Crowley, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne, TX.

Mrs. Benavidez passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on April 23, 1952, the daughter of Edna (Bright) and M.H. Boyd.

Mrs. Benavidez was a medical office manager for the majority of her career in Fort Worth. She also enjoyed working at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

She was a member of the American Miniature Horse Association for many years. Her love for animals was apparent to all who knew her. Her dog, Harley, will surely miss her. She loved new adventures, traveling, hunting, camping, live music, or any event with family and friends. She especially loved to go dancing in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Boyd.

Mrs. Benavidez is survived by her daughter, Tracy Crysup and husband, John, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Crysup and Lauren Crysup; great granddaughter, Dove Crysup; brother, Larry Boyd and wife, Linda, of Joshua, Texas; best friend, Patti Gage, of Decatur. Extended family includes Chuck Cofer, Scott Cofer, and Suzanne Eekhoff and many other family members and friends.

Her family would like to extend their appreciation to Baylor Scott and White Hospital staff, Texas Health Hugley Hospital staff, family and friends for all of the support through her illness.
