Barbara was a kind and loving soul. She treated everyone with fairness and equity. She was born to be a mother and grandmother. Barbara had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. She loved her family and home which was a gathering place for family holidays and celebrations. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life. She was the glue that held us all together. Every gathering was centered around a meal and a good card game. Barbara was a very creative person who enjoyed crafts, gardening, embroidering and she was a talented seamstress. Her sewing talents produced Barbie clothes, stylish outfits in the 70's, and costumes for her children and grandchildren. Every spring she planted petunias and red geraniums, her favorite flower.
Later in life she was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she enjoyed fellowship and worship. She enjoyed Bible studies where she strengthened her relationship with Christ.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Tuenge; and siblings, Billy Tarpley, Loretta Stokes, Diane McDaniel, and Dean Tarpley.
