Richard Barnes, III

Funeral services for Richard Barnes III will be conducted at 4 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 3 p.m. prior to the service on Friday. Bro. Fredric Johnson will officiate.
Richard went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 24, 1945 in Longwood, Mississippi to Earleen (Cooper) and Richard Barnes, Jr. Richard was a welder and worked on pipeline. He was of Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Barnes.
He is survived by his son, Charles Johnson of Saginaw, Michigan; daughter, Shameca Green of Saginaw, Michigan; niece, Nikki Addison of Cleburne; brother, Frank Barnes and wife, Ivey, of TN; sisters, Bernita Addison of Cleburne, Gloria Wilks of IL, Delores Cazy and husband, Robert, of IL; grandchildren, Melina Brookins, McKenzie Brookins, and Keith Brookins, Jr. all of Saginaw, Michigan; and numerous other family and friends. Richard will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
