William Beard

Funeral services for William “Billy” Beard, 85, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Travis Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Itasca Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Joe Birdsong, Bobby Joe Birdsong, Christopher Birdsong, Phillip Jenkins, Michael Waldie, and Gerald Davis.
Billy passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Grandview. He was born in Hayti, Missouri on July 13, 1931, the son of Lana Roberts and Tillman Beard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Beard who passed away in 2004.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Barbara Strawn and husband, Robert, of Cleburne, TX, Frances Jenkins and husband, Tim, of Grandview, TX; step-daughter, Debbie Reynolds of Argyle, TX; sisters, Mossie Woods of Grandview and Oma Waldie of Onalaska, TX; sister-in-law, Ena Davis and husband, Gerald, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Billy Joe and Sue Birdsong, Bobby Joe and Leigh Ann Birdsong, Christopher and Jennifer Birdsong, all of Cleburne, Travis and Mary Jenkins of Roanoke, TX, Phillip Jenkins of Grandview, Elizabeth and Tony Maldinaldo of Argyle; and 11 great grandchildren.
