Karne Bedell

Graveside services for Karne Louann Bedell, 61, of Godley, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Godley Cemetery with Bro. Don DeFoor officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be T.J. Smith, Lewis Smith, Rodney Whitehead, Ron Whitehead, Ricky Whitehead, Chip Brawner, Josh Schlotzhauer and Aaron Whitehead.
Mrs. Bedell passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on August 25, 1953, the daughter of Ruthia Marcel (Brown) and Floyd Washington Whitehead.
Mrs. Bedell lived in Fort Worth for over 30 years where she worked as an office clerk for Dickies Clothing Manufacturing. She was a member of the Godley Western Fellowship Church, the Moose Lodge, and the Red Hat Society.
Mrs. Bedell was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clyde Bedell, Jr. in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Smith and wife, Mary, of Hamilton, Missouri; step-daughters, Kelly Sue Bedell of Fort Worth and Gail Bedell of Cleburne; brothers, Floyd W. Whitehead and wife, Jackie and Mike Whitehead and wife, Donna, all of Joshua, Texas; sister, Sharon Ann Brawner and life companion, Ray, of Godley; grandchildren, Timothy S. Smith, Jr, Lewis Smith, Cory Rhoads and Raven Rhoads; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
