Zelma Lee (Booth) Beene passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, in Cleburne, Texas.
A memorial was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was born in Cleburne on March 23, 1923, to Joseph and Ola (Hunter) Booth.
Zelma was a lifelong member of the Cleburne community. She was married to Vernon A. Beene in Cleburne on October 23, 1940.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Zelma is survived by her husband of 75 years, Vernon A. Beene; daughter, Brenda Patrick and husband, John; three grandchildren, Bryan Patrick and wife, Jennifer, Tara Patrick, and Carrie Samuels and husband, Aaron; and four great-grandchildren, Cole Patrick, Hunter Patrick, Luke Patrick and Jackson Samuels.
