Barbara Jan Bingham (Oliver)
Rio Vista, TX—Funeral services for Jan Bingham, 70, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Kennedy officiating; assisted by Pastor Paul “Hoot” Wibbeler.
Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bingham passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on June 28, 1943, the daughter of Esker Lee (Williams) and Virgil Lawson Oliver.
She married Calvin Bingham Sept. 30, 1958 in Cleburne. Jan worked for many years at Lee’s Western Wear in Joshua, Texas. After her retirement, she went into business with her son, Wade, running the family dairy.
She was a member of Three Nails Bible Church in Cleburne.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Bingham; brothers, W. L. “Dub” Oliver, T. E. “Bunk” Oliver, P. E. “Mutt” Oliver, and Bobby Oliver; and twin sister, Ann Oliver.
She is survived by her son, Wade Bingham and wife, Angie, of Cleburne; daughters, Kelly Green and husband, Billy, and Donna McDonald and husband, Mark, all of Cleburne; sisters, Janie Anderson and Edna Cryer, both of Cleburne; grandchildren, Michael Green and wife, Daley, Colter Green and wife, Kenya, Nicole McDonald and Jacob Bingham; and two great grandchildren, Jazmyne and Carter Green.
