Funeral services for Wynnelle Blair, 90, of Cleburne, Texas were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Glover and Dr. Milton Cunningham officiated. Burial followed in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Harwell, Loyal Tutle, Paul Tutle, Bill Dick Stringer and Charles Seay. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Tutle and Gary Whitehead.
Mrs. Blair passed away on July 28, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born in Dallas, Texas on March 2, 1921, the daughter of Nina Ruth (Johnston) and Charles Clayton.
Wynnelle married Tommy Blair on March 24, 1940 in Rockwall, Texas. She had been a member of Field Street Baptist Church since 1944. Wynnelle was a retired employee of the Postal Service but at one time had been the secretary for the Johnson County Judge and also, the District Attorney.
She was a member of the Satellite Camping Club and the Curly-Q Square Dancers.
Wynnelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas “Tommy” Blair; daughter, Sharon Elaine “Shady” Blair; and sister, Hazel Collins.
She is survived by her son, Robert P. Blair and wife, Rama Pidikiti, of Cottondale, Alabama; granddaughter, Kimberly Blair; and great granddaughter, Gabrielle Blair.
