Funeral services for Betty Sue Blakeney, 64, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Mitchell officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday before the service.
Mrs. Blakeney passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 28, 1948, the daughter of Johnnie (West) and William Humphrey Maples.
Betty Sue married Jerry Don Blakeney on Feb. 10, 1971 in Vanetta, Okla. She was a truck/bus driver and was a member of Loving Ave. Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Betty Sue was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Don Blakeney, Sr. of Cleburne; sons, Jerry Don Blakeney, Jr. and wife, Stephanie, of Grandview, Texas, Johnny DeWayne Blakeney of San Antonio, Texas and Michael Charles Blakeney of Cleburne; grandchildren, Beau, Bryce, Baylie, Johnny, Justin, Deanna, Jessica, and Lolly; five great grandchildren; and sister, Alta Andrews of Norfolk, Virginia.
