Bobby Watts passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Johntown, Texas on November 25, 1932, the son of Opal (Gibson) and James Lee Watts.

Chrisanne remembers: Everyday, growing up, my Dad would come home from work at 5:25. The table would be set and dinner would be prepared. My Mom would always greet him at the door with a kiss and tell him "everything's ready." When I received a call that my Dad had passed away, I looked down at my watch - 5:25. I know my Mom was greeting him at Heaven's door with a kiss and telling him everything's ready."
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June Watts; and brother, Dale Watts.
He is survived by his daughters, Renee Mexia and Chrisanne Brightwell and husband, Larry, all of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren, Zach Brightwell and wife, Sarah, and Reagan Priester and husband, Andrew; and great grandchildren, Ember Brightwell, Stella Brightwell, and Tucker Priester.
We would like to thank all the care givers at Christian Care Community Memory Care who treated us like family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brown Church of Christ-Preacher Training School, 1801 Brown Trail, Bedford, TX 76021 or to the charity of your choice.
