Obituary for Marty J. Borden (Smith)
Ms. Marty Borden, 72, of Cleburne, Texas passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Cleburne.
A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
No other services are scheduled.
Marty was born in Brownwood, Texas on December 8, 1944 to Zelda (Parker) and Brooke Smith.
She was a retired school librarian with 37 years of service to the Cleburne ISD and was of the Baptist faith.
Marty was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlotte Sollers.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Brooks and fiancée, Robert Blunck and Vikki Lowery, all of Cleburne; sister, Kathy McCutchen of San Angelo; grandchildren Megan Brooks, Maci Brooks, Tyler Lowery, Brooke Lowery, David Lowery and Kaleb Votaw; great granddaughter, Hadley Brooks; three nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Coleman Elementary Library, 920 W. Westhill Drive, Cleburne, TX 76033 or to the charity of your choice.
