Mary Lou Bowen, 89, of Cleburne, Texas passed away on October 16, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born on June 18, 1931 in Joshua, TX. Her parents were W.W. and Alma Hildebrand. She married Leon O. Bowen, Jr. in Cleburne, TX on November 25, 1950.
She is survived by her children, Danny “Dan” Bowen of Belton, TX, Bobby Bowen of Cleburne, TX and Becky Bowen Casinger and husband Bryan of Mayhill, NM; her grandchildren, Sheana Beaver of Cleburne, TX, Libby Bowen of Austin, TX, Hannah Bowen of Denver, CO and Sallie Bowen of Dallas, TX.; and great grandchildren, Aidan Plank, Adonai Wetselline, Carson Bailey and Finlee Wakefield. She is also survived by her brothers, Steve Hildebrand and wife Dorothy of Arlington, TX and Ray Hildebrand of Overland Park, KS, and her sister-in-law, Jeannine Hildebrand of Austin, TX.
Mary Lou graduated from Joshua High School and attended the University of North Texas and Hill County Junior College. She was a legal secretary and worked for Gene B. Turner, Attorney at Law, in Cleburne, Texas and for the Office of the General Counsel, General Services Administration in Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Johnson Hildebrand, her sister-in-law, Betty Bowen Rich, and her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.
