Hazel LaVerne Braden (Rogers)
Keene, TX—Graveside services for Hazel LaVerne Rogers Braden, 84, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jun. 8, 2014 at Keene Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 4 – 6 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 7, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Braden passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born in Dennison, Texas on Jan. 11, 1930, the daughter of Johnie Carroll and Ila Mae (Rector) Rogers.
Hazel married Milford Earl “Bub” Braden on April 28, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas. He preceded her in death in May of 2002.
Mrs. Braden was a homemaker and was a member of the Joshua Crossroad Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Cowboy Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Braden was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Hamilton.
She is survived by her son, Tim Braden and wife, Lorenne, of Alvarado, Texas; daughters, Cindy Braden Foley and husband, Wade, of Keene, Penny Braden Froemming and husband, Larry, of Apopka, Fla and Robin Braden Mullen and husband, Scott, of Cleburne; brother, Carroll Rogers and wife, LaVerne, of LaGrange, Texas; sister, Ima Mae Collins and husband, Bill, of Marion, Ohio; grandchildren, Shelly, Shanon, Tom, Laura, Tiffany, Heather, Brant and Braden; 12 beautiful great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
