Obituary for LaWanda Faye Branum (Carter)
Funeral services for LaWanda Faye Branum of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Herzig officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mrs. Branum passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Post, Texas, the daughter of Lottie Faye (Connell) and Jesse Carter.
Mrs. Branum was a retired attorney and was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. A frequent Yard of the Month recipient, she was a member of both the Iris Club and Rose Society in Hobbs, New Mexico and Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold G. Branum; and two brothers.
Mrs. Branum is survived by her son, Mark Branum of Cleburne; daughter, Anne Heath and husband, Rick, of Covington, Texas; grandchildren, Kenzie Branum and Joshua Branum; and sister, Sue Eades of Hobbs, New Mexico.
