Joshua, TX—A memorial service celebrating the life of Deloris Brewster, 82, of Joshua, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, 1000 E 16th Street, Dalhart, TX 79022. Pastor Mark McCormick will officiate.
Mrs. Brewster passed away Wednesday, Nov, 28, 2012 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Booker, Texas on May 24, 1930, the daughter of Effie Jane (Barney) and Russell Ruben Cummings.
Mrs. Brewster was a business owner; served as a paramedic and was a member of Cleburne Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmie Brewster; and brothers, Alfred and Russell Cummings.
Deloris Brewster is survived by her daughter, Tracie Snodgress and husband, Randy, of Joshua; granddaughters, Brittney and Sarah Snodgress; grandson, William Snodgress and wife, Jalyn; brother, Glenn Cummings and wife, Velora, of Dalhart, Texas; sister, Gail Hennigh of Clarkesville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Rena Gallo and husband, Al, of Tyler, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mission Hospice, 505 N. Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
