Weldon Brown

Funeral services for Weldon Brown, 72, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Beverly officiating, assisted by Youth Pastor, Rachel Harris. Burial will follow in Morgan, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Brown, Tracy Brown, Bryan Clary, Bryce Clary, Austin Burton, and Christopher Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Timms, Larry Campbell, Richard Hicks, Richard Anderson, Sam Kerbow, Chuck Thompson, and Jerry Reesing.
Mr. Brown passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Burleson, Texas. He was born in Bosque County, Texas on January 8, 1941, the son of Mozelle (Murray) and Earl Brown.
Weldon served his country in the United State Air Force and was retired as a safety representative with General Motors. He was of the Methodist faith and was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.
Weldon married Ina Cooke Roden on October 15, 1999 in Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Weldon is survived by his wife, Ina Roden Brown, of Cleburne; daughter, Lori Stone and husband, Steve, of Lake Fork, Texas; sons, Tommy Brown and fiancée, Lori Bowers, of Joshua, Texas, James Kevin Harris and wife, Charlotte, of Joshua, Bill Roden and wife, Gaye, of Cleburne, and Tom Roden and wife, Kelly, of Cleburne; sisters, Wanda Jones and Charline Hisey, both of Burleson, and Earline Holland of Fort Worth, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
