Obituary for D.F. "Buck" Buckingham
D.F. “Buck” Buckingham, 88, of Cleburne, TX, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 in Glen Rose, TX.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. A visitation has not been scheduled; however you may come by Rosser’s between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. on Sunday, Oct 16, 2016 to sign the register book.
Buck was born on May 17, 1928 in Fort Worth, TX to Nancy Alice (Bennett) and Fred Buckingham. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ and served in the Navy during World War II.
Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Buckingham; brothers, Charles and Harold; sisters, Ruby, Dorothy, and Audrey; and his parents.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Buckingham and wife, Belinda, of Cleburne, and Mark Buckingham and wife, Jill, of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Grant Buckingham and wife, Allison, Haley Earley and husband, Justin, Alex Gerner and husband, Nick, Lindsay Buckingham, and Spencer Buckingham; Great Grandchildren, Natalie, Julia, Annabelle, Emma and Abe.
Memorials can be made in his memory to Tipton Childrens Home, P.O. Box 370 Tipton, Ok., 73570.
