Isidora Burciaga

It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of Isidora “Dora” Burciaga, of Cleburne, Texas, on May 18, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dora, 79, touched many lives. She was born in Gonzales, Texas on April 4, 1936, the daughter of Leonarda (Vargas) and Isaac Bursiaga. Dora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a longtime member. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home with The Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Burciaga II, Tony Arriola, Daniel Reyes, Michael Perkins, John Anderson and Mark Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pedro Burciaga, Sr.; daughter, Rachel Burciaga; brothers, Eddie and Felix Bursiaga; and sisters, Alejandra Reyes, Julia Reyes and Josepha Obregon.
Dora is survived by her sons, Pedro Burciaga, Jr. and wife, Joann, of Everman, Texas, Richard Burciaga and wife, Bridgett, of Joshua, Texas and Johnny Mojica of Cleburne; daughters, Brittney Yzaguirre and Veronica Hernandez, both of Cleburne; brothers, Felipe Bursiaga and wife, Petra and Juan Bursiaga, all of Houston, Texas; sisters, Gloria Ibarra and husband, LaLo, and Rosa Hernandez and husband, Lupe, all of Waelder, Texas; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
