Alvarado – Graveside service for Virginia Burkett, 72, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Rosehill Cemetery. Dr. David denHartog will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Virginia passed away on Feb. 10, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born March 30, 1940 in Torrance, California to E.L. Hamilton and Mary Perdue Hamilton. Virginia married Norman Burkett on Sept. 7, 1968 in Blum, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Cleburne Bible Church.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Burkett of Alvarado; brothers, Leroy Hamilton and wife Fran of Longview, Bill Shepperd and wife Martha of Cleburne; sister, LeVarn Leath of Chandler; special loved ones, Frank and Lois Shepperd of Blum; and a host of other relatives and friends.
