Burt E. Northcutt

June 17, 1930 - June 11, 2024

Born in San Angelo, Texas, Burt was born into an oilfield family that traveled north Texas working on drilling rigs, which led him to attend six

different schools in six different towns in one year alone. Burt graduated high school in Wichita Falls in 1948. In 1950 Burt enlisted in the Marine

Corps and joined the fight in Korea with the 1st Marine Division Reconnaissance Company, and was honorably discharged in 1953, when he

entered the banking and financing business.

Burt was a faithful member of the Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon for many years and worked on such efforts as the Herold of Truth,

and Journey to Eternity. He was enormously creative, publishing five books and creating several business start-ups.

Burt was a devoted, fiercely loyal, and faithful husband, father, grandfather, and Marine, whose wit, sense of humor and kindness will be

greatly missed.

Burt will be privately interred at Rosehill Cemetery.
