Obituary for Charles Roy "Charlie" Butler
Graveside services for Charlie Roy Butler, 72, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Rio Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Melson will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles William Warren, Richard Lyn Holcomb and Charles Adam McElroy.
Charlie passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Granbury, Texas. He was born July 21, 1945 in Waxahachie, Texas to Dessie (Sims) and Robert Lee Butler. Charlie was a bus mechanic for the Cleburne Independent School District. He loved car racing, cherry mash candy bars and fishing.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
He is survived by his sisters, Penny Fry and Mattieline Hanson; and several nieces and nephews.
