Michael Byers

Funeral services for Michael Lynn “Mike” Byers, 60, of Arlington, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 1 – 2 p.m. Saturday before the service begins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Byers, Jesse Byers, T. J. Byers, Kenn Lathers, Terry Graves and Brandon Carlock.
Mike Byers passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 in Arlington. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on March 26, 1954, the son of Ruby (Alexander) and Roy Oland Byers.
Mike married Glenda Lathers on April 16, 1993 in Cleburne.
He was a service manager and quality assurance auditor with Malin Integrated Handling Solutions.
Mike was a genius at fixing things and was a good electrician. He was a bass player and a gifted musician. He loved to hunt and enjoyed the outdoors. Mike was a wonderful husband and father who is loved and will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Doris Ann Byers.
Mike Byers is survived by his wife, Glenda Byers of Arlington; sons, Dirk Byers of Denison, Texas and Ron Elliott and wife, Kelli, of Crowley, Texas; grandchildren, Clayton and Dakota Elliott of Crowley; brothers, Monte Byers and wife, Denise, of Burleson, Texas and Tim Byers of Cleburne; nephews, Jesse Byers, Matt Byers and wife, Julia, all of Burleson and T.J. Byers of Cleburne.
