Obituary for Winnette Merritt Cameron
Graveside services for Winnette Merrit Cameron, 105, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 in Cleburne Memorial Park. Rev. Charles will be officiating.
Winnette died Friday, June 24, 2016 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Cameron was a member of the Cleburne Seventh-Day Adventist Church (Pastor Harley Charles).
She was born in Mississippi on April 23, 1911. She was the youngest of four sisters.
Winnette was baptized in April 1942 in Jackson Mississippi and became a lifelong Seventh-Day Adventist. She moved to Texas in 1956 and retired from the City of Dallas as a secretary at age 65.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Cameron; son, Noel Cameron and granddaughter, Pamela Yager.
Winnette is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elaine Cameron, great grandsons, Eric Neal, Cameron Neal and Tyler Yager; and six great great grandchildren.
