A memorial service and visitation for Glen Edward Cannon, 73, of Grandview, Texas will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel, with the memorial service beginning at 7:00 P.M. Mr. Clyde Slimp will officiate.
Glen Edward Cannon passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Grandview. He was born April 1, 1948 in Corning, Arkansas to Lola (Richardson) and Noel Cannon. He married his sweetheart, Rita Hebert on July 9, 1982 in Broussard, Louisiana, and from then on was a honorary cajun.
Glen served his country in the U.S. Navy. He and Rita owned and operated a RV and mobile home supply company for 35 years. Glen was raised Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Glen enjoyed the country life and working outside on his small farm, with his dog, Danny by his side. Family was everything to him and Sunday lunch with the kids and grandkids was the highlight of his week.
Survivors include his beloved wife of more than 39 years, Rita Cannon of Grandview; sons, Lance Cannon and wife, Kim of Florida, Chance Cannon and wife, Kristina of Cleburne; daughters, Kari Hernandez and husband, Vincent of Cleburne, Veronica Strealy and husband, Justin of Fort Worth, Elizabeth Kile and husband, Jordan of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Courtney Fox, Devin Fann, Brooklynn Kile, Brody Kile, Brystal Kile, Max Lynn Cannon, Dominic Hernandez and Miles Strealy; great-grandchild, Lucas Daminato; brothers, Charles Cannon and wife, Barbara of Ada, Oklahoma, Howard Cannon and wife, Patricia of Wasola, Missouri, Kenneth Cannon and wife, Joelle of Decatur; sisters, Lavon Moran and husband, Steve of Cleburne, Margaret Jordan and husband, Jim of Ava, Missouri; and numerous other family and friends.
