Services for Charlene Carlock, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ferris Whitehead officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian, Brandon, Billy, and Matthew Carlock, William Smith, Shawn Watts, Shawn Davis, and Halston Spohn.
Mrs. Carlock passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 in Keene, Texas. She was born August 7, 1932 in Everman, Texas to Charlie and Ola (Cavander) Cox.
She married Oscar Carlock on May 27, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas. They were married for 66 years.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Oscar Carlock, Jr.; and daughter, Nancy Carlock.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Carlock, Sr; son, Charles Carlock and wife Annetia of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Jo Ann Smith and husband, William, of Cleburne, Sherry Clark and husband, Howell, of Cleburne and Viola Lee Carlock of Benbrook, Texas; daughter-in-law, Connie Carlock of Cleburne; brother, Johnnie Cox and wife, Joyce, of Garland, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Mission Hospice for their loving care, with special thanks to Mandy, who cared for our mother as if she were her own.
