Charles “Bud” Carlock, Sr.
Charles “Bud” Carlock, Sr. passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at his home in Cleburne. He was 76. There are no services planned at this time.
Bud was born in Fort Worth on July 1, 1935, the son of Velma Mary (Pannell) and Herbert Roy Carlock.
He married Jimmie Lois Moore on May 8, 1953 in Cleburne.
He was a member of Steiner Baptist Church and helped with the church ministry at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Denzell Lois Green in March of 1991; three brothers and one sister.
Bud is survived by his wife, Jimmie Lois Carlock of Cleburne; sons, Charles Alvin Carlock, Jr. of Mexia, Donald Ray Carlock and wife, Gloria of Temple, Herbert David Carlock and wife, Renee, of Watakoneta, OH, and Gary Allen Carlock of Joshua; daughters, Polly Ann Carlock of Cleburne and Becky Sue Karnowski and husband, P.D., of Moody, TX; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
