Carol Brickey

Carol Ann Brickey, age 82, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2025. There are no services planned at this time.

She was born on July 11, 1942, in Lewisport Kentucky to Essie Merl Chapman and Roy Garvin. She and Francis ( Frankie) David Brickey were together for 65 years and had 3 children.

Carol was known for her love of family and animals. Throughout her life, she had a variety of careers as a cosmetologist, cosmetology teacher, jailer, and entrepreneur. Carol and Frankie in their retirement years enjoyed RV travel, spending time at the beach, fishing, and playing at the casinos. Carol and Frankie spent the past 12 years living in Waveland, Mississippi. She is survived by daughters, Mikki Brickey Spencer, and Suzette Rieger and husband, Bruce; son, Christopher Brickey and wife, Donna; sisters, Jean Blanford and Dean Kingston; as well as cousins and sisters-in-law. Carol was especially proud of her 9 grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Glenn; son-in law Mark; and husband, Frankie.
