Herschel Carroll

Funeral services for Herschel Carroll, 96, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Shannon Carroll officiating.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mr. Carroll’s grandsons.
Herschel Carroll passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his home. He was born in Frisco, Texas on Feb. 13, 1919, the son of Dovie (Hammock) and Roy B. Carroll.
Herschel proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War. He was a retired food broker for Associated Grocers in Phoenix, Arizona.
Herschel was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grace Stark Carroll; son, Jerry Carroll; and seven siblings.
He is survived by sons, Curt Carroll and wife, Brenda, of Joshua and Ben Carroll and wife, Margie, of Wynnewood, Okla.; daughter, Susan Carroll of Phoenix; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
