A celebration of life service for Rhonda Kay Leitko Cavett, 62, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eddie Scheler officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M, at Gentry’s Mill Cemetery near Hamilton. Pallbearers will be nephews Ryan Schroeder, Ben Adams, CJ Calhoun, Danny Watson, Jr Webb and Josh Webb.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Rhonda was born in Hico, TX to John and Wanda (Thornton) Leitko on May 3, 1958. She was the oldest of three girls. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended Western Hills High School. She married the love of her life, Tommy Cavett on April 5, 1975. They made their home in Cleburne and were married 45 years. They had four children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She spent most of life as a homemaker, but also worked several years as an in-home childcare provider before she spent 17 years working at Children's Palace. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Rhonda is survived by her sister, Regina Schroeder and husband, Daniel of Arlington, husband, Tommy Cavett of Cleburne, daughter, Melanie Russell and husband, Clint of Mansfield, son, Mark Cavett of Joshua, son, Kevin Cavett and wife Trisha of Godley, and son, Bradley Cavett and long-time girlfriend, Bryanna Etter of Cleburne, grandchildren, Judge Wilson, Kash Wilson, Stephanie Vogel, Ty Cavett, Ayden Cavett, and Jeremy Welty, and one great grandson, Ryker Vogel. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rita Courtney Bear.
