Eduviges "Ed" Chapa Jr

Funeral services for Eduviges “Ed” Chapa, Jr., 79, of Waxahachie, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Ed Chapa passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Waxahachie. He was born in Rio Grande City, Texas on January 7, 1943, the son of Luciana (Fuentes) and Eduviges Chapa, Sr.
Ed was a retired mechanic in the trucking industry and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Raul Chapa, Roberto Chapa, Enedina Chapa, Leonel Chapa, and Eduardo Chapa.
Ed is survived by his son Eduviges “Eddie” Chapa III; daughters, Marisell Yvonne Chapa, Olivia Luciana Chapa, Maritza Luzette Nabors, and Mellie Hogan and husband, Jason; brothers, Ernesto “Neto” Chapa and Romeo Chapa; sisters, Lydia Gonzalez and Delia Alaniz and Viola Casas; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
