Christina Marie Morrow, age 27, passed away suddenly on Aug 7, 2024. There are no services planned.
Christi was born in Waco Texas and moved to Cleburne TX in 2003. She attended Gerard Elementary, Wheat Middle School and graduated from Cleburne High School. It was in her time in high school that she found her passion for the Color Guard for which she excelled in every way. She loved the Color Guard and the Cleburne HS band, and enjoyed accompanying them to Fri night lights, parades and competitions.
Christi continued her Color Guard passion at Tarleton State where she thoroughly enjoyed competing against some of the best Color Guards in the state. After graduating Tarleton with a teaching degree, she quickly found a job as a 4th grade teacher in Arlington TX. Christi adored her students and loved being able to share her stories about life with them.
She had recently accepted a job as a 4th grade teacher for the Crowley School District so she could be closer to home and family. Christi loved art and all genres of music. She was quite an artist and could draw and paint beautifully and shared her artwork with many others. Her most recent endeavor was photography, and she had an eye for most things that looked normal to others.
Christi is survived by her parents, Jim and Kirsten Morrow of Cleburne; brothers, Josh Morrow of Burleson and Justin Morrow of New York; sister and brother-in-law, Kayla and Chris Dedmon; and nephew; Wyatt (Little Munchkin) all of Grandview; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins across the country.
Her favorite saying was "be the light". She was a very bright light to her family, friends and students. Her light may have dimmed with her passing, but it will never go out. She will always be in our hearts and minds and will be missed by so many that loved her.
