Obituary for Llawanna Collie (Shannon)
Graveside services for Llawanna Collie, 84, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Mrs. Collie went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 18, 2017 in Grandview. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 15, 1933, the daughter of Willie Mae (Sissom) and James Carroll Shannon.
Mrs. Collie was a homemaker who loved the Lord, to crochet and to read. She played the piano at Boswell Heights Baptist Church where she loved to take her grandchildren.
Mrs. Collie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richardson “Travis” Collie in January of 2014; children, Gari, Steve, Ricky, and Randy Collie and Sharon Richardson; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Collie of Plainview; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
