Frederick Collins

Graveside services for Frederick R. “Freddy” Collins, 60, of Hubbard, Texas will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Freddy, as he was known by family and friends, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Groesbeck, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 17, 1956, the son of Virginia (Dawkins) and Bobby Collins.
Freddy graduated from Rio Vista High School in 1975, where he played football, basketball and baseball and was a lifelong sports fan.
He was employed in metal building construction.
Freddy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ricky Collins.
He is survived by his son, Brian Collins and wife, Yady; daughter, Michelle Speer and husband, Mike; and mother of his children, Marcia Collins, all of Nebraska; brother, Bobby Collins of Cleburne; and grandchildren, Jayde Collins, Lilyan Collins, Elli Perez, Adilyn Speer, Emma Speer and Anniston Speer.
