Richard Collins

Graveside services for Richard Arlen Collins, 83, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at
11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Collins passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born in Elyria, Ohio on Jan. 27, 1932, the son of Alice (Hayes) and Alexander Collins.
Richard served his country as a Tech Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He married Mary Patricia Uniacke on Feb. 9, 1952 in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Richard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne. He was also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and was a past Grand Knight of the Bishop Dunne Council 2813. Richard was retired from General Dynamics and CSC where he was employed as an electrical engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Renee Aston.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Collins of Cleburne; sons, Dennis Collins and wife, Diana, Michael Collins, and David Collins, all of Cleburne, Scott Collins and wife, Lorraine, of Rio Vista, Texas, Richard Collins and wife, Kristi, of Los Angeles, California, and Erin Collins of Kingwood, Texas; sister, Ellen Gulling of Avon Lake, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
