Easter R. Combs
Easter R. Combs, 94, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. There will not be a set visitation.
Ms. Combs went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2012 in Pearland, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born April 21, 1918 in Arden, Arkansas to Ben Terry and Lilly Duckett Terry. Ms. Combs was a homemaker and a journalist who wrote for the Bronze Cleburne Paper years ago. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Combs; daughter, Sherry Scott; and son, Willie Combs, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Ernestine Terry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
