Ava Marie Nix Connery
Funeral services for Ava Marie Nix Connery, 45, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. David Baldwin, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 4 – 6 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Born in Cleburne on July 17, 1968, to Mary Francis (Tatnull) and Clarence Joseph Nix; Ava passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.
She was a restaurant manager and a member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Ava was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Dedora Oliver.
She is survived by her son, Will Smith and wife, Lisa Bradley, of Cleburne; daughters, Paula Nix and Storme Henry, both of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Ralph Nix and wife, Denise, of Cleburne; sisters, Tannie Wilson of Cleburne, Mary Johnson and Athalena Hafford, both of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Shannon Nix, Demarcus Nix, Zaylen Leichman, Aaliyah Smith, Royal Evans, and London Tattnull; and several nieces and nephews.
