Ruby Vera "Vera" Cooper (Cooper)
Funeral services for Ruby Vera Cooper, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, October, 26, 2013 at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Corey Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Damon Cooper, Darrell Cooper, Luis Faillace, Anthony Cooper, Alex Cooper, and Chandler Cooper.
Mrs. Cooper passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born in Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras in Central America, the daughter of Elizabeth (Diamond) and Ellis Cooper.
Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Damon Cooper; brothers, Edlon, Victor, and Kester; and sisters, Hannah and Lula Belle.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her sons, Damon Corrigan Cooper and wife, Cheryl, of Houston, Texas, Tom Cooper and wife, Hilda, of Wylie, Texas, Tony Cooper of Burleson, Texas and Jeff Cooper and wife, Sherry, of Cleburne; daughters, Alana Sue Williams and husband, Jim, of Frisco, Texas and Elizabeth Duckworth and husband, Bobby, of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Margaret Rose and husband, Eddie, of Mena, Arkansas and Kitty Bush of Abbeville, Louisiana; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
