William “Bill” Jackson Couzynse
Cleburne—William “Bill” Jackson Couzynse, 85, of Cleburne, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at his home.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
Bill was born on December 27, 1925 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He served in the US Navy, a veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Lafayette and a plank owner of the USS Springfield.
The family would like to thank Alpha Omega Hospice, especially Kim, Cassie, and Tamesha for their love, compassion and excellent care during his final months.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Joanne Couzynse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy; his children, Robin Couzynse Wainwright and husband, Clint, William Hill Couzynse and wife, Veronica, Peter Michael Couzynse, Julie Couzynse Perrett and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Karen Wainwright Marcello and husband, Michael, Chip Wainwright, Matt Wainwright, Kyle Wainwright and wife, Jessica, Jackson Couzynse, and Cooper Perrett; great-grandchildren, Christian and Connor Marcello and Wesley Wainwright.
Memorials may be made to Alpha Omega Hospice, Vogel Alcove or the American Cancer Society.
