Funeral services for Annie Pearl Cowan, 94, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kim Long officiating.
Interment will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at McDonalds Cemetery in New Summerfield, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ervy Poynter, Tommy Gregory, Adrian Richardson, Terry Richardson, James Gregory, Kevin Poynter, Tyler Gregory, R. d. Richardson, and Spencer Richardson.
Mrs. Cowan passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born in DeLeon, Texas on January 16, 1919, the daughter of Kitty Reba (Heath) and Otis M. Chupp.
Mrs. Cowan was a retired legal secretary and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Leon Cowan; brothers, Morris, Marvin, Grady and Ruby T. Chupp; and sisters, Pauline Kelly and Lillie Adell Richardson.
Mrs. Cowan is survived by her brother, Paul Chupp of Jacksonville, Texas; many nieces and nephews, including Reba Gregory and husband, Thomas, and Sharon Poynter and husband, Ervy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
