Carlton Knight Crimmings
Blum, TX—Carlton Knight Crimmings, 65, of Blum, Texas passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 4, 2012 at his home.
A visitation and viewing will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
There are no other services scheduled.
Carl was born in Massachusetts in May of 1947, the son of Clifford and Margie Crimmings. He moved to Arlington, Texas in 1954. He retired from General Motors and moved to Blum, TX to become a full time rancher.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sorita Kay Crimmings.
He is survived by one stepson, Russell Ware and wife, Amanda, and their six children of Colorado Springs, Colo., brothers, Cliff Crimmings and wife, Judy, Glenn Crimmings and wife, Susan, and David Crimmings and wife, Patty, all of Arlington; seven, nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 2630 W. Freeway, Suite 250, Fort Worth, Texas 76102 or to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the Blum area community for their devotion and kindness during Carl’s long illness, as well as, St. Paul’s UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
