Michael Crisp

A visitation and viewing for family and friends of Michael Edward Crisp, 66, of Cleburne, Texas will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at American Legion Post 50 in Cleburne.
Michael passed away on Aug. 10, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born March 3, 1947 in Johnson County to John Elbert Crisp and Gracie Pearline Wallace Crisp.
Michael was an active member of the American Legion Post 50 for 40 years where he was a SAL member. He was a professional drummer for the West Bound Lane Band playing at numerous American Legion Halls. Michael loved all of his family and his American Legion family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Crisp; brother, Jerry Crisp; sisters, Sonja Stephens, Kay Malone, and Anna Castillo.
Michael is survived by, Brenda Sorrells of Cleburne; son, Christopher Michael Crisp and Rhonda Jones of Alvarado; daughters, Melissa Dawn Lewis and husband Ray of Cleburne, Deborah Gonzales and fiancé Albert of Cleburne; step-sons, Shawn Sorrells and wife Brandy of Cleburne, Damon Yarbrough of Orlando, Florida and Preston Troy Yarbrough and wife, Susan; step-daughter, Kaci Lowe and husband Jeff of Cleburne; brothers, Jeff Crisp and wife Charlene and Tommy Crisp all of Fort Worth; sister, Paulette Thompson of Cleburne; grandchildren, Mark and Xander Porras, Sean Hernandez, Myli Gonzales, Colton and Shelby Lewis and Dalton and Emily Yarbrough; step-grandchildren, Jace Lowe, Taylor and Garrett Sorrells; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
