Edna Cryer

Funeral services for Edna Fay “Doodle” Cryer, 85, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry York officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Cryer, Jr., Brad Greenslade, Josh Frazier, Brian Greenslade, Wade Bingham and Max Greenslade.
Doodle passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born in Godley, Texas on April 25, 1930, the daughter of Esker Lee (Williams) and Virgil Lawson Oliver.
Doodle and B.D. “Brownie” Cryer were married on Sept. 9, 1944 in Glen Rose, Texas.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Doodle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, B.D. “Brownie” Cryer; and four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by sons, Johnny Wayne Cryer of Cleburne, Ricky Dale Cryer and wife, Debra, of Godley, John Douglas Cryer and wife, Liz, of Grandview, Texas and Michael Wayne Cryer of Cleburne; daughters, Bobbie Buckingham of Cleburne, Robbie Frazier and husband, Ronnie, of Covington, Texas and Cathy Campbell and husband, Gary, of Cleburne; sister, Janie Anderson of Cleburne; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
