A private graveside service for Kaynell Curtis, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2020 at Greenacres Memorial Park. Pastor Mark Trussell will officiate.
Kaynell went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born March 12, 1938 in Walnut Springs, Texas to Violet (Carr) and Charles Simmons. Kaynell was a homemaker. She married R.D. Curtis on June 13, 1956 in Cleburne and was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Florence Williams.
She is survived by her husband, R.D. Curtis of Cleburne; son, Kenneth Curtis of Cleburne; daughters, Pam Hurst of Cleburne, Kim Campbell and husband, Larry, of Oklahoma; brother, Mike Harwell and wife, Debbie, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Mikaela Bass and husband, Chris, Eric Hurst, Kollin Curtis, Kaelyn Curtis, Candi Ferguson and husband, Mark, Rex Campbell and wife, Tayler; great-grandchildren, Harper and Bentley Ferguson, Brooke Campbell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
