Obituary for Darwin O. Daniel
Funeral services for Darwin Daniel, 93, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard Blake officiating. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Daniel passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born in Cleburne on February 1, 1922, the son of Lillian (Jenkins) and Walter K. Daniel.
Darwin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Darwin and Bonnie Daniel were married Sept. 9, 1942 in Cleburne.
He was a retired supervisor with the Santa Fe Railroad. Darwin was a member of Field Street Baptist Church, Cleburne Masonic Lodge #316, and was a Shriner with the Scottish Rite.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Bonnie.
Darwin Daniel is survived by his son, Mark Daniel and wife, Vickie, of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Paula Morgenstern and husband, Len, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Todd Morgenstern, Amy Conley and Tiffany Smith; great grandchildren, Logan Conley and Aubrey Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Hospice Plus and the caretakers of the Shaw House.
Memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels, 106 East Kilpatrick, Cleburne, TX 76033.
